Mining Technician

 

Mining technicians assist mining engineers and mine managers with complex technical functions associated with mining projects.

They are involved in the examination of aspects of the mining operations to ensure conformity with specifications, drawings, contracts and regulations.

 

Personal qualities required include physically fit, an aptitude for mechanical work, work well as part of a team, willing to adhere to health and safety regulations, and be able to follow instructions.
